Rules:
This tournament is sanctioned by the Dutch Bowling Federation (NBF) and the ETBF and organised by Stichting Bowling Promotie Nederland. WTBA playing rules together with the following rules will govern this tournament.
Event:
Single tournament open for all bowlers 50 years and older.
Entry fees:
First entry € 100,-, re-entry € 70,-
Age bonus:
One pin per game for each year a player is over 55 years of age. Men maximum 20 pins, women maximum 20 pins.
Finals:
Top 32 Men and 16 Women will qualify for the final steps
8 male players will qualify directly for the final step 3, which is players positioned 1-
8 male players will qualify directly for the final step 2, which is players positioned 9-
Final Step 1: 16 men will play 4 games starting from scratch. Top 8 will qualify for the Final Step 2
Seeding and matching in the final step 2-5:

In each of the matches in the final step 2-5, the highest seeded player will meet the lowest seeded player; the second highest seeded player will meet the second lowest seeded player etc.
Final Step 2: 16 men (9-16 after qualification + top 8 from step 1) play 8 matches, best of three. The 8 winners will qualify for Final Step 3A. The 8 losers will be ranked 17-24 according to their seeding.
Final step 3A: 16 men (1-8 after qualification + 8 winners from step 2) play8 matches, best of three. The 8 winners will qualify for Final Step 4. The 8 losers will be ranked 9-16 according to their seeding.
Final step 3B: 16 women play 8 matches, best of three. The 8 winners will qualify for Final Step 4. The 8 losers will be ranked 9-16 according to their seeding.
Final step 4: 8 women and 8 men play 8 matches, best of three. The 4 winners in each category will qualify for Final Step 5. The 4 losers in each category will be ranked 5-8 according to their seeding.
Final step 5: 4 women and 4 men play 4 matches, best of three. The 2 winners in each category will qualify for Final Step 6. The 2 losers in each category will be ranked 3-4 according to their seeding.
Final step 6: There will be 1 match in each category, 1 game. The winner of the match will be ranked 1. The loser of the match will be ranked 2.
Ties:
In case of a draw during the qualifying and final Step 1, the smallest difference (total played games) between the highest and lowest game including age-points will be taken into consideration. If a draw persists, the smallest age bonus wins.
In the Final Steps 2-6 a 9th and 10th frame roll off will break the tie.
Booking policies:
A maximum of two squads can be booked before the tournament starts. Regular entries have priority over re-entries.
A re-entry can be pre-ordered and has to be paid in advance, together with the regular entry-fee. There will be no refund of the pre-ordered and prepaid re-entry fee, if you choose not to play the re-entry games, unless the tournament organization can fill the entry from a waiting list.
The first returned re-entry spaces will also be the first filled up. In case of a re-entry the highest score counts for qualification, the scores of the other entry/entries will be erased.
